If you're into your beer and food like we are, a brewery tour or meal and pint is a must at Bedford's very own Charlie Wells brewery!

The village of Turvey is a stone's throw away and although tiny it pack a peaceful punch. With 2 lovely pubs, an Abbey, a stately home, beautiful church and fantastic walks, do stop in for a peruse.

There's no better way to see the area than by canoe or paddle board on the glorious River Great Ouse with Rich and Ash at Canoe Trail.

Woburn Safari park - where you'll get to see some amazing animals in the 300 acre park, just watch out for the cheeky monkeys - we learnt the hard way!

Step out your tent door and you are already on the Stagsden circular walk so needless to say this 6mile walk has to be tackled!

Browns Farm shop, run by one of our neighbours is packed with home grown and local produce and it's only a mile down the road.
